James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia was the birthplace of three Teenbeat bands: Flowers of Discipline, Sexual Milkshake (w/Kshake aka Todd Massey) and Blast Off Country Style (w/Phil Sweeney aka Chaud Baise). A large group of friends moved to Portland, Oregon after graduation and there Gollipopps was begun. This short lived band combined the insanity of Sexual Milkshake and the pop hooks of Blast Off Country Style.
