Cath Carroll is quite a personality. A writer for England's NME in the '80s and a founding member of C60 band MIAOW. She had a fanzine and band (GAY ANIMALS) with Liz Naylor. Cath was once married to BIG BLACK member Santiago Durango. Her debut solo album, ENGLAND MADE ME, was released by Factory. From England originally, Cath now lives in Chicago and has published a book on TOM WAITS and also writes for TIME OUT NEW YORK.
