DESCRIPTION
Talk It is a band from Washington, D.C. Its members are John Rickman, Emily Rickman and Andrew Beaujon. John Rickman and Beaujon were in the Teenbeat band Eggs.
Talk It takes forever to finish writing songs. No one in the group has the job of "singer." The band's equipment includes a Fender Rhodes Seventy-Three, a five-piece drum set equipped with a cowbell, and a Fender guitar connected to a Music Man amp, with only a tuner interrupting the signal path.

BIOGRAPHY
Talk It is John Rickman, Emily Rickman and Andrew Beaujon. The band came together in 2010 and practices once every week in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, D.C. John Rickman and Beaujon played together in the Teenbeat band Eggs.
Since that group stopped playing in the mid-'90s, John Rickman has played with a variety of groups, including Soft Pleasing Light and EBSK. He works as a trade press news reporter. He plays a five-piece drum set, which he upgraded with a cowbell not long after forming Talk It.
Emily Rickman trained as a concert flutist and has performed at the White House and the National Cathedral. She began playing the electric piano as a teenager and played with several groups in Richmond, Va. She works as an interior designer and plays a Fender Rhodes Seventy-Three, which she tunes herself.
Beaujon plays guitar in Talk It and works as a reporter for the Poynter Institute, where he blogs about the news media. Talk It is the first band he's been in since Eggs split in the mid-'90s. He plays a Fender guitar connected to a Music Man amp, with only a tuner interrupting the signal path.
